The monument to the famous Vladimir citizen Yuri Levitan was opened on May 7, 2015.The monument is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous speaker, who became the voice of an entire era. The idea of the monument was innovative – the composition of the monument includes the figures of an adult and a child who listen to the voice of Levitan coming from a loudspeaker on a lamppost.

 

The monument is radioed, it plays excerpts from the famous speeches of Yuri Levitan. The monument appeared not in the central part of the city, but at the intersection of Lenin Avenue and Diktor Levitan Street.
